My first ranting post for this blog. Here goes.

Last night, I was at Popular Tampines Mall with my mum to get some assestment books. While I was choosing, my mum went off towards the paper products section. Like five minutes later, she came back to me and said "Aida, do you see that lady? *points to a stranger whom I shall call Miss Foreigner, in white shirt and black jeans. "She squeezed her way and knocked her bag onto my back TWICE."

I was wondering what my mum was being so sensitive about. When I got nearer, Miss Foreigner squeezed in between three strangers (one crouching and holding some paper, other two standing) and her bag banged into the crouching one which made the innocent auntie drop ALL her stuff. And her bag wasn't a going-shopping-so-I-only-brought-this-little-handbag kind. It was a massive one shoulder bag that people use to put in their foldable skate scooters in. Wtf. I pity that auntie lor! She's so small-built. Never even say sorry! Miss Foreigner even glared at my mum when she turned to face her after MF knocked her the 2nd time.

My mum went to pay for the stuff, so I hung around Miss Foreigner. I purposely act bitchy. Everything she was browsing, I would SQUEEZE my way in front of her and the shelve. Hurts when it's not from you, huh?

Finally, the time came. She glared at me with the "What the fuck are you tryna do, missy?" I walked away. BUT SHE WAS STILL GLARING AT ME LOL.

So I said, "Kan shen me kan?" (My hanyu pinyin not good sorry) cuz she OBVIOUSLY cannot understand English, loser.

I stood beside my mum at the queue. Then Miss Foreigner came our way (so that she can SQUEEZE through us and the 7million people in the queue to get to the other line) and said "TA PIAN, TA PIAN!" Walaoh sibeh sia! Damn bloody good is it? I'm a nice person, really, but I do have my bitch moments too. I knocked her shin when she was directly in front of me. She tripped and all her stuff crashed to the floor. Glared at me again. *Yawns. I did the "Not my fault. Too fucking bad" face. hah. you got served, ALIEN!

ps: I will not entertain any questions about what country she is from

pps: Before you bash me about being insensitve towards foreigners, let me tell you that I would do the same even if she was a local. And like I said, I'm nice. I just have my bitch moments when provoked.

Yesterday, I went to a wedding at the Asian Civilisation Museum. No kidding. The ACM had some kind of ballroom for special functions eg this wedding. And I have to admit it's one of the best weddings I've been to this year ! The food was awesome, and the selection of desserts were equally good! There must've been like, 20 + kinds of cakes. PLUS PLUS PLUS there was a juice bar, which served smooth blended fruits in a martini-esque glass (choice of topping: Whipped cream or cherry).

But here's the best part. When I entered the hall, I saw Imen's dad. Then I saw Imen's mum. Then I saw IMEN ! lolzx. We were laughing when we saw each other because of the coincidence.
Sad to say, we're not related after all. The groom's mum is my mum's cousin while the bride's dad is Imen's dad's friend. I think.

Remember my previous post about Wonder Girls releasing Anybody as the so called "sequel" to Nobody ? Well, it's out.

I have to say, I'm kinda disappointed. It's just three other practically unknown musicians trying to share the spotlight with WG (or as we Malays say, "Tangkap Glamour") The song itself, minus the male rap parts, is just the Rainstone Remix of Nobody which was released waaaay back. Notice how I say male rap parts? Yknow why? Cuz the RR version of Nobody actually has an extended version of Yoobin's rap but they deleted it out to make way for the male rap !

See the similarities? And the differences? Forward to Yoobin's amazing rap on the second one, yaww.

Syaf's cousin invited her, and she invited me, so the three of us headed to the airport last night to watch them walk on Singapore ground (actually tiles lah but whatever). You know, Syaf always says that we (Syaf, Me, occasionally Ella) are the rare breed Malays who are die hard fans of Kpop/Jpop and Taiwan etc. How wrong she was! The three of us were like, omfg cuz 3/4 of the place were Malays. We made friends with some while singing Mirotic (DBSK weren't there, the crowd was just randoming), Nobody and 10 out 10. Oh, did I tell you that cameras from the Korean channel, SBS were all up in our faces?!

As you can tell from the pictures, there weren't many people. We were expecting a whole lot more cuz in Korea, Japan etc, the crowds fill up almost the entire terminal.

Because Koreans look like stars even if they're not, we got so many false alarms by the crowd who would suddenly WHOOP! loudly only to be disappointed by a mass of commoners.

BUT, we knew those God-like creatures had really arrived when the police (I hate them. I got a good standing position, but they made me get off the chair) rushed to the gates. :DDDDD

Seeing UKiss, Andy Shinhwa and Jewelry was just so so so awesome I'd do it all over again. Kak Nisa was disappointed though cuz she didn't get to see JunJin Shinhwa. I was a bit disappointed too. Wonder Girls' flight got delayed, go figure :(

I'm at Asian Fanatics now and I realised how much they love DBSK and Wonder Girls and the fact that these two groups are always competing against each other. I'm not saying that I mind, cuz it's cool to see my two favourite Korean groups fighting for the top spot. It's a good thing really, cuz it leaves no space for the KPOP fans to talk about SNSD.
